It might seem like an easy task, but it’s actually quite an art. Wrapping paper shouldn’t be too thin or too thick — it needs to be just right to make wrapping easy. If the paper is too thin, it tears during wrapping; if it’s too thick, it’s hard to fold and wrap. At Be Nice, we look for this perfect balance in eco-friendly quality — especially recycled papers when it comes to wrapping paper.

When selecting paper, we always test it by wrapping with it, often bringing in professional arrangers to help. We also check certifications to ensure the paper is truly eco-friendly, as we’ve encountered dishonest suppliers in the past. Now, we have verified both our suppliers and the paper types we use. Since paper can sometimes be in short supply, we have several trusted suppliers and paper options ready as backups.

Next, the paper goes to our printing house, where we supervise the color printing closely — every paper absorbs ink differently, and the final look can vary quite a bit. This is crucial for preserving the beauty of our original designs, so we are personally present for every print run. Equally important is the storage — paper must be kept at room temperature to keep our beautiful wrapping paper in perfect condition.
