The story of our Anime notebooks - illustrated by a high school student
t all started with an idea — a wish to create something that would resonate with young people, something that would speak their language, reflect their style, and capture their view of the world. That’s why we reached out to student and illustrator Linda Pastorková.
Linda created an illustration that instantly became the heart of the entire product. A drawing full of softness, lightness, and energy — exactly what we had been looking for. A fresh visual with a soul. The cover of the notebook tells a quiet story of a young boy and a little kitten.
But we didn’t just want to print a pretty picture on the cover. We wanted the whole product to reflect a philosophy we’ve followed at Be Nice for years — that beauty and responsibility can go hand in hand. That’s why the Anime notebook is made of Viprint 70 g/m² paper, which is not only recycled, but also recyclable. It contains no optical brighteners, has a soft, natural feel, and is a joy to write on.
We chose two formats — A4 and A5. Whether you’re taking notes in class, sketching in your free time, or keeping a journal full of ideas, the Anime notebook gives you exactly the space you need. Inside, you’ll find 60 dotted pages — gentle and flexible. They won’t force you into straight lines but instead invite you to be free: write, sketch, map out your thoughts, or just let your ideas flow.
But the most important thing about the Anime notebook is what you put into it. We’re happy to create the “canvas,” but the real content is entirely yours — your notes, your ideas, your drawings, your joys and mistakes.
The Anime notebook is more than just a school supply. It’s proof that when you combine young talent, craftsmanship, honest materials, and respect for nature, you can create something that truly matters.
