Original Author's Design

The notebook A Tribute to Václav Havel was illustrated by Czech artist Bára from Nikolajky using traditional drawing techniques. Among the illustrations, you’ll find motifs such as coffee, Prague Castle, and keys on fingers.

The notebook contains 3 beautifully handwritten quotes and 2 excerpts from Václav Havel’s speeches. Each page is decorated on the sides with fitting and thoughtful illustrations.

At Be Nice, we design our products over a long period of time, testing and refining them thoroughly to ensure that we are fully satisfied with them – and that they will serve you well for a long time.

The design of this notebook came from a personal need. We created a product that we ourselves love to use – a place where we keep our ideas and dreams.

In Harmony with Nature – and with You

This notebook was produced in a family-run Czech printing house located close to Be Nice. We personally oversaw the entire production process.

We carefully selected the paper, called Circle White Offset, which is high in weight, fully recycled, and recyclable. Thanks to its quality, you can write in it with pens, rollerballs, highlighters, or markers without worry.

The inks used comply with European REACH regulations – they are safe for both the environment and human health.
