St. Vitus Cathedral is the most important Gothic building in the Czech Republic and is located within Prague Castle. Its construction began in the 14th century during the reign of Charles IV and was not completed until 1929. The cathedral is known for its towering spires, richly decorated stained glass windows, and the tombs of Czech kings. Inside, you can also find the famous St. Wenceslas Chapel, one of the most valuable parts of the entire structure.
